Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the architecture and evolution of AI agent systems, setting patterns, frameworks, and standards for managing context and orchestrating workflows.
  • •Shape a multi-provider LLM strategy by establishing evaluation frameworks, model-selection criteria, and provider relationships.
  • •Architect tool-use and workflow systems so agents can safely and effectively call external tools and APIs via well-defined interfaces.
  • •Lead cross-team alignment across engineering, product, and design to ensure AI initiatives are architected for maintainability and performance, mentoring engineers along the way.
  • •Establish data and evaluation standards by defining datasets and stewarding an evaluation harness that drives systematic improvements from agent outcomes and failure modes.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep hands-on experience building and scaling production AI systems with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • •Deep expertise in prompt engineering and establishing best practices for optimizing prompts across models and tasks.
  • •Strong software engineering fundamentals, including designing scalable systems and making architectural decisions for maintainability.
  • •Ability to take ambiguous, high-scope problems and drive them to completion with minimal oversight across teams and stakeholders.
