Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end AJISS engineering-change procurement and supply execution, including sourcing, PO creation/issuance, supplier documentation, and alignment to scope, quantities, specs, terms, and lead times.
  • •Drive schedule and milestone performance by tracking work package progress, proactively identifying risks, and leading recovery actions/escalations to protect AJISS deliverables.
  • •Manage defense-approved/program-relevant suppliers by building and maintaining relationships, supporting readiness and delivery planning, and ensuring supplier commitment to delivery dates, quality, and required documentation.
  • •Serve as the cross-functional purchasing interface with engineering, program/project management, category management, quality, operations, finance, legal, and bid/capture; provide status/forecasts/risk reporting with timely escalation.
  • •Maintain compliance and audit-ready records of orders and artifacts, and escalate/resolve systemic purchasing and supply issues with practical mitigations.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, commercial, or contract management with exposure to post-award supplier management.
  • •Experience in procurement/supply chain in the defense or high-compliance industry, ideally supporting in-service support or engineering change programs.
  • •Strong project management and milestone tracking skills using tools such as SAP and MS Project.
  • •Working knowledge of defense industry regulations, government contracting, and AJISS program requirements is desirable.
  • •All applicants must be able to obtain a Canadian NATO Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration Program and ITAR.
