Job Summary

Senior Compliance & Approvals Engineer to manage global regulatory compliance for banned, restricted and declarable substances across product development, manufacturing and supplier management. Leads policy implementation, data/documentation, supplier audits and training, while maintaining up-to-date expertise on regulations (REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Prop 65, SCIP) and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure global regulatory compliance for BRDS (banned, restricted, declarable substances) across product development, manufacturing and supplier management.
•Develop and maintain processes to identify and control restricted substances, integrating compliance across the product lifecycle.
•Partner with suppliers to ensure accurate material declarations, conduct audits, and provide training on regulatory requirements.
•Prepare compliance reports and declarations (e.g., SCIP submissions, Declaration of Conformity) for regulators, customers and stakeholders.
•Identify and mitigate non-compliance risks and stay updated on emerging regulations to improve processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, or equivalent)
•At least 5 years of experience in electrical/electronic/chemical fields, preferably in an R&D environment
•Strong knowledge of global material regulations (e.g., restricted substances lists) and proficiency with compliance tools/software like FMD systems, IMDS, and SCIP database
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process development skills, with experience in supplier management and conducting audits
•Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in fast-paced environments
