Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk, meet targets, and support purchasing objectives.
  • •Manage end-to-end global suppliers for critical cryogenic systems and power generation capital equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and measurable performance.
  • •Negotiate high-stakes agreements and manage contracts, including drafting contract documents with Legal and resolving issues to uphold supplier obligations.
  • •Drive cost reduction and year-over-year optimization through analyses, benchmarking, market research, and identifying cost improvement opportunities.
  • •Define and measure supplier SLAs/KPIs, establish preferred suppliers, develop and monitor supply base performance, and place purchase orders/resolve blocked invoices.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of experience in areas such as engineering, purchasing, logistics, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management.
  • •Experience in material cost control and performing quantitative and business process analyses tied to category decisions.
  • •1+ years of experience with propellants, cryogenics, oil & gas bulk commodities, carriers, and/or large capital equipment procurement.
  • •Direct sourcing experience with cryogenic systems and related capital equipment, including vacuum-jacketed piping, cryogenic pumps, vaporizers, valves, and transfer systems for LOX/LN2/LCH4/LH2 (or equivalent experience with power generation and capital equipment).
  • •Ability to pass Air Force background checks; must travel up to 25% and work extended hours/weekends as needed; onsite in Cape Canaveral (remote not considered).
