Key Responsibilities

•Deliver specialist speech, language and communication assessments and formulations.
•Provide targeted, functional speech and language therapy to support comprehension, expression and social interaction.
•Support participants to engage in therapy groups, community meetings and daily community living.
•Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues, offering consultation and practical communication strategies.
•Identify communication-related risk and protective factors to support safer rehabilitation outcomes and maintain accurate clinical records with supervision.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 37,412.5 - 38,629 annually

Key Requirements

•A degree in Speech and Language Therapy, with Health and Care Professions Council registration and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists membership

•Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and its impact on communication
•Clear, adaptable communication skills, emotional resilience and sound professional judgement
