Job Summary

The NDT Tech applies analytical methods to perform Non-Destructive Testing across radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant inspections. You will evaluate welds and materials against codes and project specifications, determine acceptance or rejection, and report findings, contributing to quality control on critical subsea/industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Examine welds/materials by Radiography (RT), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Dye Penetrant (PT) based on code and contractual specifications
•Determine conformity/non-conformity flaws and report accurately
•Perform NDT examination of welds and materials by the specified materials and qualifications (RT, UT, PT, MT) per a written Project NDT plan, NDT Procedures, code, and Contractual Specification
•Execute the examination by approved NDT procedures and internationally recognized codes/specs
•Determine acceptance/rejection based on the defined criteria; liaise with the QC inspector to determine completion of rectification work

Key Requirements

•2+ years of Engineering Degree/ High School Diploma
•3+ years in Radiography or ultrasonic
•ASNT or CSWIP qualification
•Be occupationally qualified to internationally recognized schemes (e.g., PCN, CSWIP, ASNT) requirements
•Proficient in assessing examination results accurately, sentencing welds, and reporting accordance with relevant code/spec acceptance criteria
