Key Responsibilities

•Attend onboarding and training sessions, review provided curriculum, and align delivery with Create & Learn materials.
•Facilitate CS workshop sessions (3 hours, 5 days/week) using whole-group, small-group, and individual formats.
•Take attendance, track participation, and communicate absences to the Program Director/Academic Coordinator.
•Ensure timely completion of scholar assignments and monitor daily progress toward program goals.
•Log student achievement data weekly and adapt instruction to maintain engagement and outcomes.

Key Requirements

•Experience teaching Computer Science
•Proficiency in Python and/or AI, or digital design especially in UX/UI design (at least one semester of college-level courses or equivalent)
•Ability to facilitate workshops with 40-45 participants (preferably at high school level)
•Strong collaboration and communication skills; reliable time management and professionalism
•Willingness to embrace SMASH’s mission and engage diverse scholars
