Job Summary

Join the Product Control (PC) Valuation team within Global Banking & Markets in Mexico as a key contributor to valuation matters. You’ll support HSBC Mexico’s valuation policy, help implement and automate FRTB processes, investigate collateral/MTM disputes, calculate and reconcile fair value adjustments, and run daily end-of-day curve activities. Act as the focal point for valuation questions and ensure local models are documented and reviewed in line with IMR and GMIS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to HSBC Mexico valuation policy and support PC valuation matters for Global Banking & Markets.
•Implement and automate FRTB-related processes within the HSBC Mexico Product Control department.
•Investigate collateral/MTM disputes with external counterparties and support the core PC team during PL disputes related to valuation.
•Calculate, post, and reconcile fair value adjustments, and manage the daily end-of-day curve process to derive marked-to-market for certain asset classes.
•Serve as the focal point for valuation questions from internal and external stakeholders and ensure local models are documented, IMR-reviewed, and listed in GMIS.
