Job Summary

Lead the design, deployment, and governance of enterprise-grade Databricks Lakehouse platforms for regulated clients. You’ll establish secure environments using Unity Catalog and access controls, implement CI/CD and DevOps automation, and optimize performance, cost, and reliability across AWS/Azure. In a client-facing CoE role, partner on architecture and delivery roadmaps, build batch/streaming pipelines with Spark and Delta Lake, and enable modern Databricks capabilities for AI/BI and advanced analytics use cases.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and deploy enterprise-scale Databricks Lakehouse platforms across AWS/Azure.
•Establish secure, governed environments using Unity Catalog, role-based access controls, and data lineage.
•Implement CI/CD, environment promotion, and DevOps automation for Databricks.
•Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines using Spark and Delta Lake, driving reliability, quality, and observability.
•Act as a trusted client-facing advisor to translate business requirements into scalable data platform architecture and delivery roadmaps.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or data architecture.
•5+ years hands-on experience with Databricks in large enterprise environments.
•Deep expertise in Apache Spark (Scala/Python) and Delta Lake / Lakehouse architectures.
•Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•Experience implementing data governance, security, and compliance controls, plus strong client-facing communication skills.
