Job Summary

Lead daily production activities for gear pump manufacturing, supervising CNC/VMC machining, assembly, and testing while ensuring shift-wise targets, quality standards, machine utilization, and shop-floor discipline. Oversee programming, tooling/fixtures/offsets, cycle times, and first-off approvals, and drive in-process inspections with defect-free output. Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials teams, support ERP/MRP updates, and improve productivity via Lean, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, OEE, and tooling optimization.

•Execute daily production plans for machining, assembly, and testing operations and ensure shift-wise production targets.
•Supervise CNC/VMC operations and machining centers, including correct loading of programs, tooling, fixtures, and offsets.
•Ensure quality at the shop floor by verifying drawings/tolerances/SOP adherence and performing in-process inspections to minimize rework and scrap.
•Lead and manage operators and helpers: allocate manpower, train on machining/quality/safety, and maintain attendance, discipline, and shift handover reports.
•Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials teams; prepare daily production/downtime/efficiency reports and support ERP/MRP updates for production and material consumption.
