Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and continuously improve data-driven pricing processes for private motor insurance using modern technologies such as data lakes, flexible rating engines, and analytics methods.
  • •Create pricing methods and models using statistical, actuarial, and machine-learning approaches from analysis and modeling through implementation.
  • •Optimize pricing with data to balance profitability, conversion, and retention, and turn performance-analysis insights into pricing actions.
  • •Advance cross-functional topics along the Pricing Excellence Framework, including data usage and automation as well as efficient pricing processes and technical pricing delivery.
  • •Act as a central contact for pricing expertise in product, tariff, and portfolio decisions, deriving actionable recommendations for profitable and competitive evolution of the motor portfolio.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully completed degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Actuarial/Insurance-Finance Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative field.
  • •Strong analytical and economic understanding, with interest in data-driven pricing and modern methods in non-life (damage/accident) insurance; relevant experience or initial exposure is a plus.
  • •Knowledge of Python or a comparable analytics/programming language.
  • •Interest in learning new methods and technologies and professional development (e.g., training to become an actuary with DAV).
  • •Clear communication skills and ability to translate complex analytical results into practical recommendations in an interdisciplinary environment.
