Job Summary

Lead and optimize end-to-end transportation operations across a private fleet and third-party carrier network. Oversee dispatch, route planning, load optimization, and on-time delivery, while monitoring performance, capacity, and service levels. Manage fleet operations and carrier relationships, ensure DOT/FМCSA/OSHA compliance and safety, develop budgets and cost-reduction opportunities, and lead transportation supervisors, dispatchers, drivers, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

•Direct daily transportation activities for company-owned fleet assets and third-party transportation providers.
•Manage dispatch operations for efficient route planning, load optimization, and on-time deliveries.
•Monitor transportation performance, capacity utilization, and service levels across all modes and carriers.
•Oversee fleet operations and maintenance, including utilization, routing efficiency, preventive maintenance, and asset lifecycle planning.
•Ensure DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and other applicable transportation compliance and safety through records, programs, and incident investigations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
•5+ years of transportation, logistics, fleet management, or dispatch operations experience.
•3+ years of leadership experience managing transportation teams.
•Experience managing both private fleet operations and third-party transportation providers.
•Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and transportation compliance requirements.
