Job Summary

Scale hydrogen airship manufacturing by taking ownership of the master production schedule, improving production cadence, and ramping assembly from prototype units to a reliable industrial flow. Lead and mentor technicians on the shop floor, implement SOPs and workshop layouts for efficient material flow, and drive continuous improvement. Partner with Quality and CTO to enforce Quality Gates and support validation and ground testing before flight.

Key Responsibilities

•Take ownership of the master production schedule to reduce lead times and achieve target production cadence during ramp-up.
•Anticipate and secure production of extra units and sub-assemblies to cover operational margins and testing needs.
•Manage, mentor, and grow the technician team; instill production routines using Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery stand-ups.
•Define, optimize, and document SOPs and assembly sequences, and structure workshop layouts and infrastructure to improve material flow and uptime.
•Enforce strict Quality Gates with the Quality team and CTO, escalate roadblocks in daily meetings, and support validation and ground testing before flight.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 45,000 - 55,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree (Master’s / Bac+5) with strong mechanical or aerospace background.
•3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in production management, manufacturing engineering, or workshop scheduling.
•Experience in hardware startups, scale-ups, or demanding industrial environments (small series, aerospace, automotive, or robotics).
•Proven ability to lead, mentor, and drive a technician team with a hands-on, structured approach.
•Fluent French for shop floor operations and professional English for international suppliers and partners.
