Job Summary

Own a vertical end-to-end for an AI-driven neobank app, including outcomes, metrics, and a value/risk/prioritised backlog. Partner with engineering to shape technical design for money movement correctness, reliability, security, latency, and scalability. Balance correctness, speed, cost, and UX under regulated constraints (KYC/CDD, sanctions/PEP, monitoring, residency/privacy), defining how AI is evaluated and kept safely in the loop. Location: Malaysia
Workplace: Hybrid
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Product Management
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end: outcomes, metrics, and a backlog prioritised by value/risk/dependency/strategic priority with crisp acceptance criteria.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering across system boundaries, money-movement correctness, reliability, security, scalability, and recovery paths.
  • •Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX against engineering/compliance/ops pushback.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP, transaction monitoring, data residency/privacy) and distinguish hard launch gates vs readiness.
  • •Apply AI safely by defining allowed decisions, human-in-the-loop, evaluation approach, and behavior when uncertain; ensure AI outputs trace to real records.
  • •Ship feature-complete work behind flags and go live per partner and regulatory gate; align with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance/Reconciliation.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement under ambiguity.
  • •Ability to design and challenge system architectures (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency consistency).
  • •Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or ability to ramp quickly.
  • •Hands-on AI/LLM product judgement, including defining eval approaches and safe human-in-the-loop behavior.
  • •Strong English communication and product leadership to balance ambition with technical, regulatory, and operational reality.
