Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee complex new construction, renovation, and electrical infrastructure projects including review and approval of electrical design plans.
  • •Apply electrical engineering techniques across project phases (concept development, preliminary/final design, procurement, construction, operation).
  • •Prepare and review electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, grounding potentials, short circuit study, protective device coordination, one-line diagrams, protective relaying).
  • •Lead MEP engineering projects including budgets, hour/expense tracking, subcontractor supervision, material/equipment/labor quantities, and technical calculations.
  • •Design fire alarm and lighting/lighting control systems and support construction administration with technical reports and QA/QC guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience delivering electrical engineering design deliverables for large capital projects.
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and codes including NEC, ICC building codes, and IECC energy codes.
  • •Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, plus ability to coordinate and manage tasks within larger projects.
