Originate residential first mortgage loans from outside referrals, owning the loan process end-to-end from application through closing. Meet management-defined sales and cross-selling objectives while ensuring customer experience and following policies that manage risk. Build referral relationships, complete Fannie Mae Form 1003, review daily rates and credit reports, transmit loans through internal systems, maintain loan pipelines, and provide timely updates to branches and applicants.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts) and meet mortgage sales and cross-selling objectives.
•Complete applicant loan intake using Fannie Mae Form 1003 and gather required documentation within management timeframes.
•Use internal tools to review daily rates, access applicant credit reports, run Loan Prospector responses, and transmit loans through LOMAS.
•Manage the end-to-end loan pipeline through closing and complete required management reports.
•Provide timely updates to branches and applicants, maintain customer service expectations, and attend Consumer Lending meetings.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (four-year college degree preferred).
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS required at the time of employment.
