Job Summary

Lead and grow the ANZ Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) consulting capability across Australia and New Zealand. Drive HSE advisory service growth through client relationships, proposals and tenders, while acting as executive sponsor and technical lead. Provide HSE governance and oversight for Principal and PMC delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian and New Zealand legislation. Oversee serious incident investigations, reporting, continuous improvement, and build capability through training and mentoring across the region.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and grow the ANZ HSE Consulting capability by establishing and expanding Health, Safety and Environment advisory services across key sectors.
•Act as executive sponsor and technical lead for HSE consulting services, supporting strategic growth objectives and building client and stakeholder relationships.
•Provide HSE governance and management, including implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and company requirements.
•Lead investigations into Serious Incidents (SIF) and Potential Serious Incidents (PSIF), and oversee incident reporting, regulatory notifications, and management reviews.
•Provide leadership and development to HSE personnel across the region and support training and awareness programmes to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•At least 8 to 10 years of experience as an Associate Director or Director.
•Experience leading project management commissions for medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
•Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
•People management experience, particularly managing a project management team delivering a project.
