Job Summary

Lead the product development and commercialization process for assigned apparel categories within Global Sourcing. Partner with Tier 1 factory personnel and technical teams to transition designs into samples and production, ensuring manufacturability, material standards, timelines, and cost-to-target performance. Supervise development between HQ/creation centers and factories, drive continuous improvement through new technologies, and uphold adidas Responsible Sourcing and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the development and commercialization of assigned apparel products with Tier 1 factories and technical teams.
•Provide technical expertise to transition designs into samples and production while meeting manufacturability, materials, timelines, and cost-to-target targets.
•Supervise direct development between HQ/creation centers and Tier 1 factories, ensuring Create to Value approach and product integrity.
•Continuously upgrade technical applications and processes and implement new technology in development and engineering.
•Ensure sourcing operations comply with adidas Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, standards, and legal requirements.

Key Requirements

•University degree in engineering or related areas.
•5+ years of relevant business experience.
•Experience in pattern engineering, product creation, mold making, grading, and materials processing.
•Strong knowledge of manufacturing and product testing/evaluation processes and material types.
•Ability to read shell patterns, 2D and 3D blueprints, and BOM/CBD and FCT documentation.
