Key Responsibilities

  • •Mature the overall fluid system from detailed design to qualification by leading functional analysis of the assembly.
  • •Run advanced simulation-based analysis tasks and provide outputs to fluid analysts and functional engineers to select methodologies, assumptions, and data processing approaches.
  • •Contribute to propulsion system concept evaluation and optimization (performance, mass, operations, cost, and reliability/safety) and support ground platform designs.
  • •Develop and maintain functional performance models and validate/anchor them against available test data.
  • •Plan and execute V&V for the fluid subsystem, including analysis and test campaigns, and contribute to FMEA, CONOPS support, and functional requirements (e.g., valves and tanks).

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s and/or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • •Proven experience with 0D–1D fluid simulation tools (e.g., EcosimPro, Amesim).
  • •Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and compressible flow.
  • •Experience with storable propulsion system is a plus.
  • •Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian, German or French is an asset.
