Principal Structural Engineer

Lead the analysis and design of complex steel structures supporting submarine build processes. Work within a dual design-and-engineering team to deliver engineering assessments, produce technical outputs for safety-critical systems, and support manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, and installation of structures, modules, and components. Apply structural mechanics and dynamics knowledge, regulations, and weld/geometric tolerance requirements, using finite element analysis software and providing approvals and checking for contractual targets, timelines, and budgets.
