Lead Principal Piping Engineer responsible for interpreting internal or external business challenges in the Piping discipline, solving complex piping problems, and leading design activities from conceptual through detailed design across multiple offices. Collaborates with teams, ensures compliance with international codes and McDermott standards, and guides FEED/EPC projects while emphasizing safety and effective execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, or detailed design analyses and develop them per project scope, codes, standards, and McDermott procedures within schedule and budget
•Address complex problems and non-standard situations and report to Project Management Team and Department Manager at an early stage
•Prepare detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures
•Lead discipline execution and coordinate piping design in the assigned work area, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements
•Interface with other departments and clients to ensure alignment and compliance with project goals

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•15-20 years of experience as a Piping Engineer in Oil and gas with a major contractor
•Lead Piping Engineer on FEED and EPC projects via multi-offices execution
•Detailed knowledge of Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design Phases
•Familiar with SP3D / E3D / Navisworks and international codes such as ANSI/ASME/API/NFPA
