Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical input and oversight from geotechnical investigation through to design and construction phases.
  • •Support geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, slope stability, earthworks, pavements, and other structures.
  • •Prepare Geotechnical Interpretive Reports and provide geotechnical design parameters.
  • •Lead, plan, coordinate, and supervise geotechnical site investigations including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
  • •Manage soil and rock sample collection, laboratory testing programs, factual reporting, and mentor junior staff to support delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •6–8 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering with demonstrated capability in geotechnical site investigations and geotechnical analysis and design.
  • •Proven ability to deliver technical analysis and design and manage and interpret geotechnical investigations.
  • •Proficiency with geotechnical software including OpenGround/gINT, Rocscience, GeoStudio, SLOPE/W, Leapfrog or similar.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering or a geological equivalent.
  • •Current Class C driver’s licence and willingness to undertake fieldwork and travel.
