Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to and control emergency incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in line with site emergency plans and procedures.
  • •Provide pre-hospital care, patient treatment, and emergency medical response support during incidents.
  • •Coordinate and support the onsite Emergency Response Team, including drills, training, and operational debriefs.
  • •Maintain emergency response equipment, appliances, and systems to ensure operational readiness.
  • •Support high-risk work through emergency planning, rescue plans, workplace inspections, and safety advice.

Key Requirements

  • •Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue or Certificate III in Public Safety, including relevant rescue and firefighting units of competency.
  • •Certificate IV in Health Care and current Provide First Aid, plus drug and alcohol testing competency.
  • •Heavy Rigid licence.
  • •Demonstrated capability in emergency response, rescue disciplines, and pre-hospital care.
  • •Strong communication, organisation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
