Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in product development projects, including benchtop prototype development, stakeholder communication, and maintaining organized documentation.
  • •Develop and improve the project summary process and review unusual processes with appropriate personnel.
  • •Support commercialization by ensuring products and processes meet internal guidelines and external regulatory/legal requirements.
  • •Perform required commercialization data entry/modification in Optiva or other software, including formula finalization, ingredient/packaging documents, specification development, and sign-off.
  • •Coordinate plant scale-up activities with internal departments (Scheduling, Operations, QA, and R&D project managers) and assist with related protocol meetings and data collection.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 1 year of related experience in food product development; poultry industry experience preferred.
  • •Knowledge of project management to assist and contribute from inception through completion.
  • •Practical laboratory skills and a basic understanding of statistics.
  • •Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills with attention to detail.
