Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform tier 1 preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring, and support for on-site ADCS systems and subsystems.
  • •Terminate ADCS circuits at node points of presence (POP) and monitor on-site and remote locations.
  • •Coordinate downtime requirements and report failures to the on-site government contract representative by the start of the next duty day.
  • •Make additions, changes, and relocations of ADCS equipment and install new communications/computer systems per specifications.
  • •Troubleshoot hardware/software problems and interconnectivity issues; administer network/cybersecurity policies and procedures; maintain current technology knowledge and support special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain/maintain it as required.
  • •Must hold an active CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II or DoD 8140 equivalent (e.g., Security+CE) certification or higher.
  • •Must have an AA/AS and 3+ years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Must be onsite in Rome, NY.
  • •Working knowledge of communications/computer systems and networks, including Active Directory and Windows Server 2019 (Cisco/VMware and security tooling preferred).
