Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement ETL pipelines using batch/streaming tools to extract, transform, and load data into GCP.
•Optimize data pipeline performance, scalability, and reliability; monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to address issues and bottlenecks.
•Integrate and manage data from databases, APIs, and flat files, ensuring data quality and consistency across GCP storage and analytics.
•Develop Apache Beam/Dataflow jobs for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, and collaborate with data analysts and data scientists.
•Automate ETL workflows and operational tasks (e.g., via Airflow/Cloud Composer), set up monitoring/alerting, and run incident management with post-mortems; uphold security best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Proven experience designing and managing ETL solutions, including data modeling, data warehousing, and SQL development.
•Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps, with strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies.
•Experience with cloud-based solutions, especially GCP (GCP cloud certification preferred).
•Knowledge of big data processing in batch and streaming, plus familiarity with tools such as Hadoop, HBase, Hive, MapReduce, Kafka, Flink, and Spark.
