Key Responsibilities

  • •Achieve objectives for portfolio growth and quality of the client portfolio in Belgium.
  • •Develop relationships with clients and brokers; negotiate renewal terms with direct clients and brokers; identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • •Provide proactive service (e.g., client visits, welcome contacts) and coordinate with Risk Department for client limit needs.
  • •Apply MMCD underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of the client portfolio; collaborate with other core functions.
  • •Identify new commercial opportunities to expand the portfolio and manage broker/client segmentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Expert market knowledge with ability to build a network of brokers, market players and opinion leaders
  • •Sales knowledge and negotiation skills with experience in renewals and extensions
  • •Ability to create and convert leads for extensions and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • •Basic understanding and training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools
  • •Very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English, with strong collaboration across core functions
