Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive shipments from external vendors and complete transactions in Eaton systems to maintain accurate inventory for timely order fulfillment.
  • •Coordinate cycle counts, analyze counts for tolerances/accuracy, and resolve transaction errors through research and auditing.
  • •Receive, document, store, stage, and issue advanced purchases and job-related material to satisfy production requirements.
  • •Compare shipping orders to identify units/material for shipment and prepare required shipping paperwork and documentation.
  • •Ensure quality, safety/industrial hygiene compliance, maintain 5S cleanliness, and recommend Lean improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, warehouse, material handling, or related work.
  • •Current or prior certification in operation of forklifts used to transport and locate equipment and materials.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •Only candidates residing within a 50 mile radius of the Sumter facility will be considered for this position.
