Engagement Manager for Couchbase partners with the largest enterprise customers in a high-impact, senior individual contributor role. Job Function: Customer Success & Account Management

Key Responsibilities

•Strategic Account Leadership: Own the delivery strategy and execution roadmap for Couchbase’s most critical enterprise accounts.
•Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead large-scale, multi-phase customer journeys by aligning Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Support, and Partners.
•Executive Advisory: Establish deep relationships with C-level and senior technical stakeholders; lead Executive Business Reviews and strategic planning sessions.
•Value Realization: Define, track, and deliver clear success metrics, statements of work, and business outcomes to ensure rapid adoption and high ROI.
•Commercial Growth & Risk Mitigation: Partner with Account Executives and CSMs to identify expansion signals, protect renewals, and proactively resolve complex escalations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 152,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Enterprise expertise in SaaS customer success, management consulting, or strategic engagement management handling multi-stakeholder, 7-figure enterprise accounts.
•Commercial acumen with understanding of ARR, SaaS renewal dynamics, and expansion strategies.
•Leadership and autonomy with the ability to influence senior executives and navigate ambiguity without authority.
•Cross-functional orchestration experience leading large-scale, multi-phase customer journeys (migrations, cloud transformations, expansions).
•Nice-to-have domain knowledge in data platforms, NoSQL databases, or cloud infrastructure.
