Job Summary

Data Scientist to advance agentic AI systems for cybersecurity, training models on one-of-a-kind cybersecurity data, developing AI agents, RL and LM tooling, and driving production-ready prototypes while collaborating with Engineering and Data Science teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Threat Research.
•Collaborate with cybersecurity subject-matter experts to understand analyst workflows and security operations procedures.
•Post-train LLMs and agents using supervised fine-tuning and RLHF/RLAIF, with emphasis on policy optimization and reward modeling.
•Design AI agents and assemble complex workflows including planning, tool calls, retrieval and memory.
•Research agentic planning, prototype state-of-the-art methods, and establish robust evaluation metrics.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Excellent foundations in machine learning, probability, and statistics with strong experimental design instincts
•PhD-level depth of understanding in modern machine learning research (equivalent mastery acceptable)
•Experience training generative models with a strong command of LLM training fundamentals
•Reinforcement learning / post-training: RLHF/RLAIF, PPO/GRPO/DPO, reward modeling, and building RL environments
•Experience building agentic systems: agent architectures (ReAct, planning, reflection), tool and function calling, retrieval/memory/context management
