Key Responsibilities

  • •Own buying strategy for a collection or key market and ensure alignment with commercial goals and assortment strategies.
  • •Deliver and continuously improve SKU-level sell-out forecasts to support production and supply planning.
  • •Develop forecasting models using data, trends, and commercial insights to improve accuracy and identify risks and opportunities.
  • •Partner with merchandising teams to define launch forecasts and buying volumes for new product introductions.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop a small team while providing recommendations to senior stakeholders through market reviews and business planning processes.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of experience in merchandising planning, demand planning, buying, allocation, or a similar commercial planning function.
  • •1-2 years of leadership or people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
  • •Experience in retail, fashion, consumer goods, or another fast-paced customer-focused industry.
  • •Strong forecasting and analytical capabilities, including statistical forecasting methodologies.
  • •Advanced Excel skills and experience using planning tools such as o9 or APTEAN.
