  • •Run the User Data & Consent subdomain as a manager-of-managers, overseeing an Engineering Manager and partnering with senior ICs on the group’s architectural agenda.
  • •Directly manage the Consent team and ensure product consent experiences and consent enforcement are reliable and compliant.
  • •Own near- and medium-term execution for the consent rules engine, consent/data storage, and data transport pipelines.
  • •Develop and drive a multi-year technical vision for responsible management of Netflix’s first-party user data and consent at scale.
  • •Evaluate and adapt frameworks as legal requirements evolve, identify downstream enforcement gaps, and propose data minimization approaches.

  • •Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing managers and leading EM-level and senior IC reports across multiple teams or a full department.
  • •Ability to drive teams and outcomes in an ambiguous, fast-changing regulatory and technical environment without a fixed playbook.
  • •Strong cross-functional partnership and technical ownership, aligning priorities across Product, Data Engineering, and Legal/Privacy.
  • •Industry experience building systems for user data collection and engineering, including product UI, platforms, data migration, data governance, and consent data.
