Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end ownership of portfolio vision and direction, translating strategy into measurable outcomes and guiding delivery teams.
  • •Lead strategic portfolio management and capital investment planning, ensuring robust investment decision-making that delivers sustained performance and business value.
  • •Establish and embed portfolio management and control frameworks, including evaluation/benchmarking, roadmap creation, and continuous improvement.
  • •Oversee proactive risk management, including health and safety considerations; identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues across the portfolio.
  • •Oversee financial management processes (CapEx performance, budget tracking, cost reporting) and manage commissions/contracts while driving business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Accreditation or strong working knowledge of portfolio/programme management methodologies and governance frameworks, particularly for real estate and complex delivery environments.
  • •Proven capability managing a portfolio of programmes/projects, including performance optimisation and capital investment plan management.
  • •Track record overseeing delivery of expected outcomes with high standards and continuous improvement.
  • •Exceptional leadership and communication skills to lead strategic partnerships, empower teams, and operate at executive/C-suite level.
  • •Experience with portfolio/programme financial performance oversight, including budgeting, reporting, cost management, and commercial understanding (procurement/contract forms).
