Job Summary

Seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Modeler to develop and manage 3D BIM models for electrical systems in onshore/offshore renewables. You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, create parametric BIM families, extract quantities for BOQ, and ensure designs meet offshore UK standards where applicable, using E3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360/ACC.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for electrical systems using tools like E3D and Navisworks, ensuring clash-free designs that meet offshore standards.
•Create and optimize parametric BIM families to support design intent, improve reuse, and streamline project workflows.
•Generate high-quality 2D drawings, layouts, schematics, and documentation directly from 3D models and coordinate with other disciplines to integrate designs.
•Perform clash detection and coordination with mechanical, structural, and piping teams to ensure fully integrated models.
•Extract quantities from BIM models and drive BOQ preparation, supporting cost estimation activities.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
•Proven hands-on experience with E3D on Renewables Power/energy projects.
•Proficiency in E3G, AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Navisworks, familiarity with BIM360/ACC is preferred.
•Knowledge of UK standards and practices is a plus.
•Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
