Job Summary

Manage the reliable, efficient operation of highly automated production plants at the Barleben site near Magdeburg. Lead and develop a maintenance team while evolving maintenance strategies to minimize downtime, optimize KPIs (availability, costs, technical efficiency), and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance. Implement and commission new automation systems, ensure safety/quality/compliance, partner with operations and engineering stakeholders, and drive troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and investment projects.

•Lead, develop, and inspire a maintenance team of supervisors, automation engineers, and technicians, fostering collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
•Own technical availability of production plants and further develop the maintenance strategy to sustainably reduce downtime.
•Track and analyze KPIs such as plant availability, maintenance costs, and technical efficiency, and derive effective optimization measures.
•Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable and economical plant operations.
•Implement and commission new plants and automation solutions while ensuring all safety, quality, and compliance requirements are met.

•Solid knowledge of maintenance management and optimizing automated production equipment.
•Experience with KPI management, project management, and operational excellence/continuous improvement initiatives.
