Key Responsibilities

  • •Propose, design, and evaluate analog-computing systems architectures for 1000x energy-efficiency advantage in ML inference
  • •Drive invention, prototyping, and validation of core components of the novel computing platform
  • •Engage in theoretical modeling and simulation, algorithm development, and hardware/software co-design
  • •Collaborate with team members across disciplines to chart the technical roadmap amidst deep uncertainty
  • •Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders from algorithms to circuits

Key Requirements

  • •MS/PhD or equivalent research/project experience in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; deep knowledge in AI hardware systems design or integrated-circuit design
  • •Analog and/or other unconventional physics-based computing; exposure to basic principles and engineering practice
  • •Familiarity with modern generative AI models and what this implies for analog computer systems design
  • •Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse teams across algorithms to circuits
  • •Prototyping, validation, and design experience for analog computing systems architectures
