Key Responsibilities

•Launch high-altitude weather balloons following established safety and operational procedures
•Operate and troubleshoot engineering prototype balloon units requiring more technical depth than a standard field launch role
•Collaborate with engineers during evening launches (7–11 PM) and maintain a solutions-oriented attitude under tight timelines
•Build launch rigs, balloon units, and other hardware; engage in hands-on assembly to stay close to the hardware
•Set up and break down launch sites and ensure equipment is properly configured and secured

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26 - 28 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must be able to follow detailed safety procedures and processes with precision
•Able to communicate clearly and timely
•Comfortable with computers and hands-on technical equipment (e.g., screwdriver)
•Positive attitude, flexible, and able to move fast in a small team
•Technical aptitude beyond standard launch roles, with ability to debug hardware in the field
