Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, build, and maintain data intelligence applications end to end, from database query contracts to interactive UI components.
  • •Build and own the shared application API layer by composing platform services and published data models into stable contracts.
  • •Design data-access performance strategies including caching, materialization, pagination, and streaming patterns for low-latency analytics with optimized compute cost.
  • •Create interactive, non-standard visualization interfaces and establish reusable visualization patterns across the portfolio.
  • •Implement AI-mediated interfaces using natural language and LLM-driven surfaces, including retrieval/workflows, tool integration, structured outputs, streaming, and evaluation of latency/cost.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep production experience with full-stack TypeScript across client (React / Next.js) and server (Node.js using Fastify, Express, or NestJS).
  • •Hands-on experience building custom, interactive visualizations using D3.js and other libraries (Visx, ECharts, Vega-Lite), including choosing render targets (SVG/Canvas/WebGL).
  • •Strong analytical SQL skills (window functions, CTEs, multi-level aggregations) and experience designing materialization/caching strategies for columnar cloud warehouses.
  • •Expertise with client-side state and data management, including caching, request coalescing, streaming, and table virtualization (TanStack Query, SWR).
  • •Proven ability to build reusable abstractions such as shared API layers or component libraries/design systems consumed by other engineers.
