Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate alerts and triage incidents, performing deep dives to create action items and remediation plans.
  • •Perform host-based, artifact, and malware analysis to support security investigations and incident response.
  • •Coordinate investigation, containment, and response activities with business stakeholders and relevant groups.
  • •Develop incident analysis and findings reports for management, including gap identification and improvement recommendations.
  • •Recommend or develop detection logic, tune sensors/security controls, and build custom SIEM queries and dashboards for advanced threat monitoring.
  • •(Additionally) work with security solutions owners to assess solution capability to detect/mitigate relevant TTPs.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years working in an Incident Response / Cyber Security Operations Center (in-house or outsourced), creating, escalating, and managing security incidents and incident reports.
  • •3+ years working with security tools including SIEM, analytics & intelligence, intrusion detection, malware detection, data loss prevention, and identity & access management.
  • •Solid understanding of system and security controls on at least two OSs (Windows, Linux/Unix, and MacOS), including host-based forensics and analyzing OS artifacts.
  • •Problem-solver with an in-depth, growth mindset.
  • •Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
