Job Summary

Senior procurement consultant leading and advising on complex construction and infrastructure projects, managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management, and shaping strategic supplier engagements. You’ll work on flagship programmes, deliver multi-discipline solutions, and contribute to expanding AECOM’s strategic procurement service offering while collaborating with a market-leading team.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide procurement advice to infrastructure clients on flagship projects and lead clients through the process of designing the optimum delivery model, contract strategy, and route to market.
•Manage the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender document development, tender management, evaluation, and negotiation.
•Provide advice on commercial aspects, category management and performance management.
•Support work winning activity including contributing to proposal documentation.
•Support the development of AECOM’s overall strategic procurement service offering.

Key Requirements

•Significant post-qualification knowledge and experience (7+ years) leading the procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
•Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management and supplier engagement.
•Proven project / programme management experience including ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
•Awareness of a range of standard form contracts including NEC.
•Experience in category management and contract management, including advising on Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
