Job Summary

Own reliability for a globally distributed, multi-tenant SaaS platform. Lead hands-on response during high-severity incidents, coordinate across engineering teams, and drive root-cause fixes. Improve resilience and scalability of shared infrastructure, run capacity forecasting and performance tuning, and perform controlled failure testing. Raise the organization’s observability by refining metrics and alerts, and ensure retrospective action items are implemented. Mentor less experienced SREs through code/design review and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead major incident response, coordinating across engineering teams and making real-time calls to restore service quickly.
•Maintain ownership of key shared infrastructure components, improving resilience and scalability continuously.
•Perform reliability work including capacity forecasting, performance tuning, and controlled failure testing.
•Improve proactive detection by refining metrics, alerting, and overall observability.
•Run incident retrospectives and ensure resulting action items are built; mentor less experienced SREs through reviews and feedback.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 102,800 - 137,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4 to 8 years working in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering roles within SaaS environments.
•Strong hands-on foundation in Linux, containerized systems, and cloud-native infrastructure, including experience with a major cloud provider and its networking.
•Ability to write code or scripts to manage infrastructure, with a preference for infrastructure as code.
•Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and version control workflows at scale.
•Proven ability to stay level headed during live incidents and explain technical issues clearly to non-engineers.
