Job Summary

Deliver strategic cybersecurity consulting for IT and cloud environments, including building and continuously improving security architectures. Perform cybersecurity checks and GAP analyses, then derive and create IT security roadmaps. Design cloud security governance and support Zero Trust, Defense-in-Depth, SASE, and Identity & Access Management. Work with international teams across industries and actively contribute to business development through new customer needs and external representation.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide end-to-end cybersecurity consulting to technical and leadership stakeholders across industries as part of an international expert team.
•Develop and continuously optimize security architectures for IT and cloud landscapes using Zero Trust and Defense-in-Depth principles.
•Conduct in-depth cybersecurity checks and GAP analyses and create strategic IT security roadmaps for customers.
•Design and improve cloud security governance and assess security architectures, including IAM considerations.
•Proactively identify customer needs, support new business acquisition, and represent the company externally (e.g., conferences, publications, social media selling).

Key Requirements

•Completed degree (e.g., IT security or business/IT informatics) combined with practical experience in management or cybersecurity consulting, ideally with project leadership experience.
•Expertise in security strategy, roadmaps, and GRC programs, including ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz, and NIST, plus understanding of regulations such as NIS2, DORA, EU AI Act, and IEC 62443.
•Experience designing cloud security governance (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), assessing complex security architectures (Zero Trust, SASE), and working with Identity & Access Management (IAM).
•A CISSP certification is ideal; additional recognized credentials such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, CCSP, or CCSK are a strong advantage.
•Strong conceptual and analytical skills with excellent presentation and moderation ability, plus initiative, flexibility, and an international mindset. Fluent German and English are required.
