Lead hands-on R&D technician guiding a team of technicians in the build, troubleshooting, and assembly of complex autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). You will set daily priorities, coordinate with engineering and production, ensure safety and 5S practices, and drive timely delivery of R&D and development products while resolving roadblocks under demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to all stages of the vehicle product development and manufacturing life cycle and provide feedback to the engineering team.
•Build, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies into our world class AUVs.
•Apply competency in use of hand tools, assembly tooling and general manufacturing equipment.
•Complete transactions in computer production systems (MES, NetSuite, JIRA) on daily basis.
•Provide training and support new operator training as required.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of electronics experience in an R&D environment.
•Ability to work through R&D tasks with limited oversight.

•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
