Job Summary

Execute occupational health processes at Grosvenor Mine, driving injury management, worker rehabilitation, health screening and surveillance, and health promotion to achieve zero harm. Lead and manage onsite health services, coordinate complex case management, and support investigations and health-related SHMS documentation. Oversee health and wellbeing initiatives, develop workforce engagement plans, and recommend continuous improvement to strengthen site standards and reduce health risks.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute injury management and workers compensation, medical surveillance, and fitness for work processes, including complex case management.
•Manage onsite health services and ensure compliance with contractor management requirements.
•Lead, facilitate, or participate in investigations involving health matters.
•Develop, update, monitor health-related SHMS documents and oversee implementation of site health and wellbeing initiatives.
•Develop and implement workforce engagement plans, and recommend and coordinate continuous improvement projects to improve health and hygiene.

Key Requirements

•Tertiary qualification in a Health Sciences related area (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Physiotherapy).
•Certificate of Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (desirable).
•Knowledge of management systems accreditation and risk management (desirable).
•Demonstrated experience developing and implementing health standards, procedures, and processes to manage risks and drive continuous improvement.
•Demonstrated experience leading injury management, Workers’ Compensation, and fitness for work processes, including associated legislation, in heavy industry (mining and construction).
