Key Responsibilities

  • •Select and use standard gauges to inspect dimensional tolerances with the required accuracy.
  • •Perform complex inspections on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materials.
  • •Program and set up articulating arms and CMMs (e.g., Romer, CMMs) to perform required inspections.
  • •Review and verify certifications, specifications, and conformance to design and drawing requirements.
  • •Inspect supplier flight hardware and support inspection plans and supplier corrective action verification.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of precision mechanical inspection experience.
  • •3+ years of programming and running CMM or Faro Arm experience.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications using ASME Y14.5 GD&T and use metrology tools and gauges.
  • •Familiarity with quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001), and/or aerospace precision inspection experience.
