Key Responsibilities

•Support tax compliance (corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding) and operational tax requirements for Mexico fintech and payment products.
•Coordinate and monitor Mexican digital platform reporting obligations, including real-time information access, transactional data reporting, and responses to tax authority requests.
•Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and external vendors to design and implement scalable tax technology solutions (tax determination, invoicing automation, withholding automation, and tax reporting systems).
•Coordinate reviews with Mexican tax authorities (SAT), including audits, information requests, reporting reviews, remediation projects, and tax authority inquiries.
•Help with end-to-end operational process ownership for the covered tax subject areas, supporting the scale-up of new products in a highly regulated environment.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant experience in a multinational corporation or professional firm, with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Law.
•Strong understanding of Mexican corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax rules for financial services, digital platforms, and payment models.
•Experience working with transactional tax data, reconciling it, and managing large volumes of operational tax data.
•Ability to translate complex tax requirements into operational processes for non-tax teams, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
•Strong English communication and a hands-on, team-player mindset; professional certification in Accounting or Law is required.
