Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage Environmental and Safety programs across multiple facilities to ensure compliance with environmental and safety laws and regulations.
  • •Oversee Clean Water Act compliance, including NPDES-permitted wastewater and stormwater discharges, and address related stormwater issues.
  • •Manage environmental programs including spills, waste programs, pollution prevention initiatives, and Community Right-to-Know requirements (Form R, Tier II, Risk Management Plans).
  • •Implement safety responsibilities including disaster recovery/contingency planning, accident prevention strategies, incident investigations, and OSHA responses to complaints and inspections.
  • •Coordinate and conduct annual evacuation drills, develop training materials, and supervise safety training programs, including instructor certifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety and Health, or a science-related field preferred, or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • •Four or more years of environmental and/or safety management experience.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to generate reports, correspondence, and program documentation.
  • •Wastewater license preferred.
  • •Ability to effectively interact and communicate with facility personnel, corporate leadership, regulatory agencies, and the general public.
