Key Responsibilities

  • •Own program alignment across Fire Protection, EQ, design integration, procedures, and training to ensure EPU modifications are implementation-ready.
  • •Direct two SROs supporting design integration and operability review, embedding licensed operator perspective into design and procedure development.
  • •Coordinate FPP and EQ updates with EPCs, Owner’s Engineer, and licensing to capture, document, and approve uprate-driven licensing basis changes.
  • •Drive revision of operating, emergency, and abnormal procedures for EPU power levels and coordinate training updates for licensed and non-licensed operators.
  • •Serve as the cross-project integration point for program commitments, identify program-related risks and schedule conflicts, and escalate issues to protect outage readiness and NRC compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of nuclear industry experience, including 5+ years leading nuclear programs or engineering.
  • •Deep knowledge of nuclear licensing basis programs, including Fire Protection (FPP), Environmental Qualification (EQ), procedures, and training.
  • •Previous SRO or RO experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of NRC regulations, NQA-1 standards, and INPO/WANO requirements, with experience managing large teams.
