Job Summary

Maintain the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of a compressor station and associated NGPL and lateral pipelines. Operate and start/stop engines and pumps, optimize equipment performance, diagnose and repair rotating and process components, and install and service valves, pipelines, and corrosion control systems. Perform facility upkeep (including pipeline right-of-way work), support safety and environmental initiatives, complete documentation, and handle emergency callouts while meeting DOT/EPA and other compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Start, stop, and operate engines and pumps within defined operating parameters to ensure safe, efficient performance at compressor stations, pipelines, and process plants.
•Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments.
•Install, repair, service, and maintain valves, pipe and pipeline appurtenances, corrosion control systems, measurement equipment, and storage well equipment.
•Maintain general upkeep of facilities and equipment, including pipeline right-of-way and gather/storage areas (e.g., excavating, repairing, coating/backfilling, concrete work, painting, weed control).
•Perform safety/environmental monitoring and compliance activities (e.g., DOT, EPA, state agencies), complete required documentation, and oversee/train third-party personnel as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school degree (or equivalent).
•Basic computer skills (MS Office), operating systems, and other company software.
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
•Good verbal and written communication skills with customer focus, and ability to respond to callouts and emergencies (including after dark) while carrying a communication device.
•Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, document work, and perform work in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements, including clearing a drug screen and background check after an offer.
