Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop instructional material, training activities, and exercises; incorporate current technology and coordinate implementation with facilitators.
  • •Design, update, and maintain self-guided training for a force of 1000 volunteer workers, including reference material and manuals.
  • •Assist with written training and procedural guidance for radio communications operators; create content and moderate social media and maintain Army MARS website materials.
  • •Work with subject matter experts to identify objectives and help develop, revise, and rewrite content to meet documentation needs.
  • •Provide administrative support for the Army MARS membership program and support the project manager with operational and administrative duties as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a US citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) clearance.
  • •At least 2 years of experience creating or delivering technical training in an operational setting.
  • •BA in Communications, English, Technical Writing, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience/OTJ training).
  • •Ability to speak, write, and understand English with superior oral and written communications skills.
  • •Skill with Microsoft Office and PhotoShop/image capture software, plus ability to meet deadlines and facilitate training.
